Shostakovich: The Piano Concertos; Solo Works (CD) 140g Transparant Purple pakte Joni het met HissingTer gelegenheid van de 50e sterfdag van de componist, voegen Andris Nelsons en het BSO deze bijzondere opname van zijn Pianoconcerten toe aan hun bekroonde Shostakovich cyclus. Pianiste Yuja Wang geeft beide concerten de voor haar zo kenmerkende dynamische expressie mee. Het album bevat ook 6 solo pianostukken uit Shostakovich' 24 Preludes en Fuga's, Op. 87 & Op. 34.
